A Kid’s Bathroom That is More Than Just For Bathing
You can really improve the look of your kid’s bathroom by putting interesting niceties rather than just making everything so generic just as so you can play it safe. The one thing interesting about decorating a room for a kid is that you can be as playful as they are and not feel guilty about it because, well, it should reflect them.
One way of doing this is by making the material of the shower curtain complementary with the materials with the other pieces of furniture in the bathroom. I always favor using bright colored shower curtains because my bathroom walls are all white or beige. The shower curtain breaks the monotony of the bathroom.
There are different ways on how to use a kid’s shower curtain as a significant design device. Of course, it all starts with being able to know what will be interesting for your kids. When you know this, then finding the right shower curtain will be a lot easier.
For example, if your kids are in the superhero phase, why not look for a shower curtain with prints of superhero and if you can’t find his favorite then have one made. I would advise you to not limit your scouting to your usual department store. Chances are these pieces will not be available just about anywhere. Ask your kids where the specialty stores that sell collectible toys are. You have better chances of finding unique shower curtains there than anywhere else.
You can even buy a plain shower curtain, solid white or solid beige and allow the kids to draw on the shower curtain. There are washable pens anyway, so just buy those and give it to the kids so they can take pleasure in “vandalizing” the curtain while they are bathing.
The contemporary design, though, is the most preferred because there are more available materials in the bathroom and it really fits the kids more than any other theme. Whatever you settle into, just make sure that the kids will like it. They are the ones who are going to use the bathroom anyway.
